![]() In fact, that image clearly says that your network is available, that you have an external IP address, as well as an internal IP address. It is telling you that you ARE connected to your wi-fi network. If you don't use ethernet at all, then that "Local IP" address you see in Bwanadik is your wi-fi address. Likewise, if you are connected to wi-fi, in the "Network" window, if you highlight "Wi-Fi", it will say something like: "Wi-Fi is connected to "network-name-here" and has the IP address xx." If you are connected to ethernet, in the "Network" window, if you highlight "Ethernet", it will say something like: "Ethernet is currently active and has the IP address xx." In the left column of the pane, it will tell you whether or not you are connected to the various services you see listed there. You can confirm whether or not you are connected to both wi-fi and ethernet by launching the System Preferences app, and looking in the "Network" preferences pane. Question: Do you strictly use wi-fi, or do you also use ethernet as well? In other words, do you have an ethernet cable connected between your MacBook Air and your wi-fi router? I go into Internet Diagnostics and when it disconnects, ISP, Internet, and Server are red and I lose connection from web browsers.
